Is This Jaguar-Faced Ford F-150 Truck for Real?

With all the bizarre things we've seen after small premium and sport carmakers fall into the hands of large automotive groups thirsty for profits and market-share expansion, we wouldn't be surprised if someone had proposed the creation of a luxury Jaguar pickup truck when the British company was controlled by Ford.

Still, we would like to believe that if someone did throw the idea on the table, a sensible manager would have shot it down immediately…

While many would like to have a Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Edition from the W209 series parked under their garage, the limited numbers it was produced and, of course, its hefty price tag, mean that very few drivers will ever get that opportunity.

If you don't mind losing out on the 6.2L AMG V8 that produces 507bhp and 465 lb.ft of torque and the specially tuned chassis, Prior Design has a solution for those who believe that it's all about the looks.

Arden Takes on the Jaguar XKR-S Convertible

It might come extremely close, but the 488hp (495PS) F-Type V8S still falls behind the 543hp (550PS) XKR-S Convertible went it comes to sheer power and performance numbers.

Aside from improving the engine and making sure that it can handle all those ponies running under the hood, Jaguar also afforded the XKR-S Convertible a distinct look through an assortment of aero parts, special styling cues and alloy wheels, but that wasn't enough for German tuning house Arden that has presented its own take on the drop-top sports car.

As the flagship performance version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan series, the C63 AMG is anything but a slouch with its 480hp (487PS) 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, but German aftermarket firm Mcchip-dkr believes that it could do with some improvements. Read more »

Aww, Ain't that Cute? Mini-Me Bugatti Veyron Clone Built on a Suzuki

With 1,001PS (987hp) and a top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph) for the base model, and 1,200PS (1,184hp) and an even higher maximum speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph) for the Super Sport, what's not to like about Bugatti's Veyron hypercar?

Well, you can start with the fact that production is limited to a few hundred cars, but what we really dislike about the Veyron is its $1.7 million + price tag…

While you won't be surprised to learn that other gearheads feel the same, you may lift an eyebrow after seeing what some people will do about it.

"Neck Twisting" Lamborghini Diablo Replica Based on an Acura NSX Looking for a New Home

For most, the NSX is the Holy Grail of Honda and Acura automobiles, for some, though, it's just a more reliable alternative to the Pontiac Fiero as a donor car.

Well, at least this NSX ended up forming the base for a Lamborghini Diablo clone that was discovered for sale on Craigslist in Suwanee, Georgia, by CarScoop reader Trey W. who did his homework and informed us that it may very well be the same replica we found back in 2010 on eBay.

Canada's Anibal Proposes a New Outfit for the Porsche Panamera

The Montreal-based tuning house we came to know by its Porsche 911 Attack package, Anibal Automotive Design, is now looking into a new customization program for another one of Stuttgart's models, the Panamera sports saloon.

Named Prestige, the cosmetic aspect of the project is featured in a series of computer generated images in which we see the aerodynamic kit.

Our friend Shawnz from Singapore is back with new material for his recently completed Mazda RX-8 Blacknightz Coupe project.

After having the heavily customized RX-8 professionally photographed, Shawnz is now preparing a promo video for the car, a trailer of which he released a few days ago, with the full clip to follow in the coming weeks.

Project Growler: Tuner Drops a 6.1-liter Hemi SRT8 into a Plymouth Prowler

In some ways, the 1990s and 2000s will be remembered as the decades that brought retro styling to the automotive world. Among the first brands to exploit the interest in cars with old-fashion shapes but modern hardware was Plymouth with its Prowler.

The aggressive looking hotrod with open wheels and an open cabin began its life in 1997 as a Plymouth and ended its career in 2002 as a Chrysler model, after the latter pulled the plug on the Plymouth brand in 2001.

Oh Why, Oh Why Would Someone Do This to a BMW 8-Series Coupe?

It's hard to believe just by looking at well-preserved examples, but next year, the BMW 8-Series coupe will be a quarter of a century old as it debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in September of 1989, remaining in production for a decade.

It's also hard to believe that someone would spend time, effort and money to transform a 1993 850i into an odd-looking caricature (and that's a huge understatement) like the one pictured here.
